Ratings: Up All Night beats Wednesday’s Reality Shows via Rickey.org
The premiere of ‘Up All Night’ got a 3.7 rating last night beating it’s lead-in America’s Got Talent which had a 3.5 (4.1 on its last 30 minutes). Survivor premiered to a 3.4 and Big Brother ended with a 2.9.
How low did the premiere of America’s Next Top Model go? A lowly 0.9 rating which is down 31% from last year (not facing a AGT finale).
From TVbytheNumbers:
The season premiere of Survivor: South Pacific fell 15% vs. its first Wednesday premiere last season to a 3.4 adults rating, its lowest fall premiere ever. The Big Brother season finale drew a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating, even with last Wednesday’s episode (historical comparison coming).
The series premiere of NBC’s Up All Night drew a 3.7 adults 18-49 rating (54% better than Outlaw’s premiere first half hour last season), following it the series premiere of Free Agents had a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating (identical to Outlaw’s second half hour last season). NBC says there was no AGT overrun into 10pm. Drawing any conclusions about the future of either show at this point is likely folly.
America’s Got Talent season finale was up from last week, but down 10% vs. last year’s finale to a 3.5 adults 18-49 rating. Note that AGT has had a recent pattern of adjustments upwards in the final ratings.
